As much as I love art for my walls, I also love art to wear. I have purchased all of these bracelets and three necklaces from Rutha Aaronson. Honestly, Temple St. Clair has nothing on her. The necklace is Pink Peruvian Opals and 18Kt gold. I really enjoy quality gemstones, and real gold instead of plated pieces. The 18Kt gold beads between each one of the gemstones allows me to add an enhancer. Since I usually have any of my pendants modified to enhancers the necklaces look different each time I wear one.
The bracelets are Pink Peruvian Opals, Gray Agate, White Agate, and Turquoise. Rutha added a beautiful little charm on each one. I wish I would have taken a photo of the tiny charm. Take my word for it, they are just so beautiful! One would almost expect a little ring from the charm because they look like tiny bells that were used in the Roman Empire. Much of the designs that Rutha makes have an old world ancient quality to them. I just love the ancient look of jewelry from Egypt, Greece, Etruscans, and Romans.
I recently bought one of my favorite gemstones Rutilated Quartz, and just the other day I purchase yet another necklace of Citrine. I have not got my Citrine necklace, but Rutha gets the packages out quick and to my door in no time. In fact she is one of the fastest shippers I have ever bought items from as of yet. The Rutilated Quartz is very unusual stone. It has little "Golden Angel Hairs" trapped inside the gemstone. Here is what the necklace looks like with an enhancer. I just got out of the shower, so give me a break. The enhancer is a Venetian piece by Taglimonte.
Go check out the other pieces that Rutha makes, I can almost guarantee there are going to be pieces in her Etsy store that you are going to love.
You will have to let me know what you think.
This is all about the adventure of our family obtaining the land of our dreams. The land will be our home, a place where we have our olive orchard, vineyard of Italian variety grapes. Our organic farm will also include our Morelli Museum of Italian Classics. Until we find our "Land of the Golden Sun" we are living "La Dolce Vita" everyday.

Curator Passion
I love collecting. It is in my blood. Actually, it is not only me, but my whole family. We collect Italian items such as art and theme related to Italy. Jewelry, fashion, books, cafe pieces, and vehicles. We are going to have our own museum to display our collection. We already have a layout plan of the initial place to house the collection.
Thursdays have always been the day that I share my collection with the world. I think I am going to continue with what I started. Thursdays will be known on my blog as "Thumbs up Thursday, Curator Corner".
I like themes, they help keep me motivated and focused on a subject to share with readers. I am still in the process of "claiming" my own domaine. After I have it established I will seek out my readers that have been lost since my name change. I just could not keep the other name in good faith, especially since I want to have a relationship with Italian towns and villages to collect things that we can display at our museum.
Once I do have the real website up and running I will write to all my followers that I had at my other blog, and have more of a new themed day linky parties. Thumbs Up Thursday will allow other to showcase their collections too. From spoons, thimbles, coins, art, jewelry, what ever you wish to share.
I have many artists to showcase. Artists is fine arts, crafts, jewelry, pottery, it is vast...and will take me years to show you everything. I hope to see you all.
If you are wondering what is with the sun photo...it is one that I took at Disneyland this summer. I have a blog that covers sun art throughout history. 365 Days of Sun. It is a collection of sun images. If you have an interesting photo of the sun you have found email me the story and photo and I will post your image and story with a link of your choice to the blog.
